My name is Artem, and I come from Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region of Ukraine. Due to the war, my family and I had to leave our home and start a new life in a foreign country. For me, Tbilisi is the largest city I've ever been to.
As I began this new chapter of my life in Tbilisi, I often felt lonely. My friends, comrades, and acquaintances had either stayed in Ukraine or scattered across different parts of the world. Nevertheless, I remained undaunted. One day, while passing by, I came across a basketball court that became a source of inspiration for me.
The players practicing on that court were true basketball experts, and their skills were extraordinary. I couldn't help but be captivated by their performance. Over time, I mustered the courage to join them, and they taught me everything about the game. I developed a profound love for basketball, and it had a transformative effect on my life, filling it with joy and self-assurance. That basketball court became an integral part of my identity and a never-ending source of inspiration.
Finally, I made the decision to share my love for the game and came to realize that every person on the court had a unique story, a deep connection to the ball and the hoop. Below, you can explore the posts from all the players, each sharing photos and personal accounts of what drew them to love basketball. These are ordinary people from Georgia simply enjoying a game of basketball, but I saw something much more profound in their shared experience.
